Temped by P.C. Cast and Kirsten Cast

Truly a story that never takes a break. There's a twist at every corner and a surprise in every shadow. Yes, it does seem at times like a sitcom and Zoey's boyfriend issues take up most of the pages but int he end, it's all cause-and-effect right. Don't get me wrong, I loved the book, and it always kept me wondering (I won't say what because I don't want to burn it out). What did frustrate me, though, was the fact that it seemed the whole book was setting up the story as rising action and finally as it began to reach the climax it just stopped. Yes, the book ends in the most frustrating moment. But then again, it is how you keep readers wanting more.
Tempted follows Zoey (with a hint of Stevie Rae, Heath and Stark's point of views) just as she's sent Kalona and Neferet away. Zoey and her group are resting at the Benedict Church (and its basement) to replenish from the damage Kalona, Neferet and the Raven Mockers racked upon them. But in the darkness of the caves, is all as it seems? When Kalona is still present in Zoey's dream can she deny the part of her that is A-ya or is there good left in Kalona? As High Priestess of the red fledgings Stevie Rae is also dealt with a dilemma, can she help the rogue red fledgings who didn't get their humanity back or will she die trying?
